Horizons Atlanta Offers Educational Summer Fun For Youngsters

The summer months when school is out can be a tough time for parents, especially those on low incomes who find it difficult to pay for summer day care. Parents in Atlanta now have another option for providing educational fun thanks to the expansion of Horizons Atlanta. Mary Catherine Thompson’s recent article in the Atlanta based newspaper, NeighborNewspapers explained how the non-profit summer program has been able to expand to offer summer programs for high school age youngsters, much to the delight of executive director Scott Tucker.

In her article,  Thomson spoke with Tucker who detailed how the Horizons program was able to expand and will able to offer youngsters invaluable advice and opportunities that will ultimately help them prepare for life after high school.
